Brazil was on the edge of the abyss against Pool A hosts Bulgaria but turned the game around and secured a spot at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
“We had a mission to accomplish and I thank each one of them, not for today, but for the work that has been done throughout the season, every day, every workout, every trip. They all committed to the full. In life, there’s no punishment, no reward. There is merit. And today it was fair for Brazil to come out with this achievement. That was our big goal: to get the job done right now,” the head coach of the “Seleção” Renan Dal Zotto.
