The 23-year-old Brazil National Team player Rordiguinho was caught using the illegal substance in the anti-doping test held during the Pan-American Games in Lima, Peru, a month ago, Bruno Voloch published in his blog.

Sada Cruzeiro Vôlei outside hitter is suspended preventively for 30 days. Rodriguinho, allegedly, used a dietary supplement containing a banned substance, whose name is not yet disclosed, without informing the national team’s coaching staff.

Brazil won the bronze medal at the Pan-American Games, losing semifinals to Cuba. The “Seleção“ sent “B“ team to the tournament, coached by Renan Dal Zotto’s assistant Marcelo Fronckowiak, because the Pan-American Games were played practically at the same time as the International Olympic Qualifier.
