In the tie-break, won by Praia, the 2 Minas players nearly got into a fight!
Kasiely Clemente and Caroline Gattaz “Carol Gattaz“ started rough discussion during time-out that their coach Nicola Negro called at 10-4 for Praia. Neither of these two players wanted to back off, while their teammates seemed quite surprised with the scene. At one point, in order to finally end the argument of his protégés, the Italian coach closed the mouth of both of them by his hands!
This can’t be seen quite often in volleyball, especially in women’s volleyball…

Can someone explain why they got into fight?
Generally I don’t like Gattaz’s attitude. She is provocative and cocky.

They say that its because at the tie, the hitters were just tipping the ball, instead of hitting it hard. Then Gattaz, as any captain should do, tried to raise the team up in a way i think she lost it a little bit . Then Kasi was a little too empathetic and started arguing back.
I think Gattaz was wrong in the way she spoke to her team but Kasi was also wrong. Anyway, they said that they already talked and set everyhing right! #LetsGoMinas
