“The Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) pronounces this Monday (21.04) and clarifies that there is no team considered the champion of the men’s Superliga Banco do Brasil 2019/2020. The competition was closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the decision was taken in a videoconference meeting held last Monday (April 13), with voting by the 12 clubs participating in the competition,” announced CBV.
However, after this statement, Taubate Funvic proclaimed themselves at the moral winners of the 2019/2020 Men’s Superliga. It caused many comments on Instagram after this team announced the “moral champions”.
