It’s now official: Sesc and Flamengo joined forces and formed one team for the next season, which will be called Sesc RJ Flamengo.

With the partnership, the most successful project in the history of volleyball in Brazil, led by the two-time Olympic Games winner as the head coach of the Brazil men’s National Team – Bernardo Rezende “Bernardinho” since 2004, will change the jersey colors. From now on, Sesc players will wear the black and red jersey by which the largest multi-sport club in the country with the biggest fan base in the world (30 – 35 million), Flamengo, is famous.

Sesc have 12 national titles on their account in women’s volleyball. As for Flamengo, they have three.
