Minas retained several important players in the roster for the 2020/21 season.

The libero Maique Nascimento (the FIVB World Cup and South American Championship winner with the Brazil National Team – both in 2019), the Argentina National Team outside hitter Nicolás Lazo, one more outside hitter – Henrique Honorato, and middle blocker Matheus Santos “Pinta” (the best blocker of the last edition of the Superliga) renewed their contracts with the Belo Horizonte team.

Minas also confirmed the staying of the head coach Nery Tambeiro, who’ll lead the club for the seventh straight season.

Recall that a bit earlier, the club based in the state of Minas Gerais completed the signing of a massive reinforcement – the 2016 Rio Olympics winner William Arjona.
