BRA W: After 5 years, Jarbas Soares leaves Usiminas Minas

Jarbas Soares is no longer Usiminas Minas' coach. After five years on the helm, and 19 years in the youth club, coach said his goodbye to the team. Patricia Axer commented. Worldofvolley brings you the latest volleyball news.

I want to thank Minas. We had 24 good yearsSoares said.

The head of the tema, Patricia Axer, commented that the club still has no names as possible replacements, and now awaits the new sponsor to begin planning for next season.

We are waiting for the new Sponsor, which should happen next week. Only then we’ll talk, and start assembling our team for the season 2013/14.

Jarbas (Soares) has done a great job in Minas. He is a very good man, always wanted the best for the club and for all the players. We thank him for the work he has done.

Jarbas Soares started in the club in 1986 when he was an employee of the volleyball club schoole. He was an assistant coach for the male and female teams for several years. Took over as coach of the professional team in 2008, and his best result was fourth place in the Superliga 2011/12.
