“Mexico played a very good tournament, and very good matches especially against the United States. For us our main goal is to prepare for the U23 World Championship” said Brazilian coach Leonaldo Roberley.
“Mexico didn’t quit, they fought hard and were complicated on the first two sets. We improved in the end and fortunately won this championship,” said Brazilian captain Mauricio Borges de Almeida.
“Fortunately and despite We couldn’t win, we finish with a good balance and We have reached the World League qualifier and just have to wait for the confirmation dates and places” Sergio Hernandez, coach of Mexico, stated.
“Congratulations to Brazil for the championship. It was a great experience for us to face such a great team with great players. I am glad despite this result because we gave our best, and got the support of the fans. We gave it all and reached the finals,” said Mexican captain Jorge Quiñones.
