It is Vivo Minas which managed to beat Sesi and Sada Cruzeiro in the last two rounds. But, victory against Sada Cruzeiro has perhaps a bigger meaning for the fans, because of the scenes in yesterday’s derby.
At the end of the second set, Leal celebrated a point rudely, which caused revolt of the home players and fans. There was even a pushing between players, and Leal and Henrique received a red card.
Leal left the court making obscene gestures to the crowd, so the fans answered with the insulting chants towards his wife who was on the stands…
Luckily the match was finished without a problem afterward.
