BRA M: André Heller announces retirement

The captain and the middle blocker of the Brasil Kirin, André Heller has announced his retirement in the end of this season.

Today, this 38-year-old player will probably play his last match in career. His team, Volei Brasil Kirin will face Sesi-SP in the second semi-final match. In the first game they suffered 3-1 loss.

My plan was to play up to 40 but in 2012 I got injured and that changed all. That injury limited me a lot since last season but I decided to play because our club got sponsor. I did my best with help of doctors, physical therapists, alternative medicines and treatments. But, I cannot play like this anymore “- said Heller former player of the Brazilian National team.
