In the last match of the 18th round, Osasco recorded a victory over the last-placed team of the Brazilian Women’s Superliga.
Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde defeated Abel Moda Brusque by 3-0 (25-14, 25-21, 25-20).
Tifanny Abreu from Osasco was the match top scorer with 15 points, followed by Gabrielle Marcondes (Duda) with 14 and Fabiana Claudino with 12. Meanwhile, Laura Pascua from Abel Moda Brusque ended the game with 12 points.
The 18th round began with the victory of Minas over Fluminense, on Tuesday. Yesterday, Wednesday, Barueri won over Energis 8 São Caetano in the tie-break, after losing by 2 sets to 0. Praia isolated itself even more in the leadership of the Superliga by defeating Maringá by 3 to 0, in Uberlândia. In the Federal District, Pinheiros overcame Brasília by 3 to 2.
The 18th round began with the victory of Gerdau Minas over Fluminense. The day after, Barueri won over Energis 8 São Caetano in 5 sets, while Sesc RJ Flamengo beat Sesi Bauru in straight sets. Dentil Praia Clube defeated Unilife Maringá 3-0, and EC Pinheiros overcame Brasília Volei 3-2.
