The Dentil Praia Clube and Gerdau Minas have both secured a spot in the semifinals of the Brazilian Women’s Super League. Dentil Praia Clube emerged victorious over Barueri, while Gerdau Minas dispatched Sesi Bauru. They now await the results of the remaining two quarterfinal matches to determine their opponents.
At the Arena UniBH in Belo Horizonte, Gerdau Minas once again defeated Sesi Bauru with a score of 3-1, winning sets of 22-25, 25-20, 25-19, and 25-21. Kisy Nascimento, the opposite player for Gerdau Minas, was the top scorer of the match with 23 points. In the first game of the quarterfinals, Minas won 3-2 in Bauru. Gerdau Minas concluded the “best of three” series with 2-0.
Moving forward, Gerdau Minas will face the winner of Pinheiros vs Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde in the next phase of the playoffs.
