Fluminense showed great control and teamwork defeating Dentil/Praia Clube 3-1 (25-21, 25-13, 25-27, 25-17) in an early match of the Women’s Superliga 2025/26.

Fluminense now has two wins in three games, while Praia Clube suffered its second straight loss. Fluminense dominated most of the match, staying solid in defense and sharp in attack, especially in the second and fourth sets.
Praia Clube once again struggled with consistency and energy, despite an improved effort when Payton Caffrey and Gabriela Martins came on.
Setter Fabíola Souza was named player of the match, while Ariane Pinto led Fluminense’s scoring with 26 points. For Praia, Morgahn Fingall scored 19 and Payton Caffrey added 17 before leaving the court with a knee issue late in the game.
