Gerdau Minas kept perfect record alive in the Brazilian Superliga after sweeping Tijuca 3–0 (25–19, 25–14, 25–16).

With the victory, Minas temporarily moved into first place with 14 points and five straight wins. Osasco/São Cristóvão Saúde and Sesc RJ Flamengo, both still unbeaten and yet to play their matches this round, remain close behind. Tijuca, still searching for its first win, sits in the penultimate position with two points.
Minas was led by middle blocker Julia Kudiess, who scored 15 points and was awarded as the match MVP. Three more Minas players hit double figures: Maria Khaletskaya (11), Hilary Johnson (10), and Glayce Vasconcelos (11). For Tijuca, outside hitters Ariele Moreira and Paula Mohr were the top scorers with 12 and 11 points, respectively.
