Brazil and Peru will meet in the final of the CSV Women’s Continental Olympic Qualification Tournament after contrasting semifinal victories on Saturday at the Milton Olaio Filho Gymnasium in São Carlos.

Peru beat Colombia 3-2 (25-19, 15-25, 22-25, 25-11, 17-15), while Brazil breezed past Venezuela 3-0 (25-14, 25-15, 25-23).
In the other semifinal, opposite spiker Sheilla Castro topped the scoring chart with 16 points. Brazil dominated the first two sets, but Colombia fought back in the third.
“At that moment, they served well and we made some mistakes,” Sheilla admitted. “However, the important is that we achieved the result we wanted.”
