The 28-year old player came from Panasonic Panthers, a member of Japanese V-League.

I feel like at home here in Brazil. I’m sure we are going to have an excellent season. Ricardinho is known worldwide and with him we are ready to do some great things. I can’t start for the matches in Superliga. Our team has big quality we just have to prove it” says Fakuzuwa.

He doesn’t speak Portuguese and all conversations with the teammates are in English. Fakuzuwa is the second Japanese player in this team in its history and fifth foreigner to play in Maringa. Before him, Momota Shimada, Rodrigo Quiroga, Dustin Watten and Ivan Marquez wore a jersey of this team.

The head coach of the team is also foreigner – Horacio Dileo.

Recall that Dustin Watten took over his profile on WorldofVolley! You can do the same or create new one!
