Unlike Portuguese players, Brazilians were prepared for hot sun above Mané Garrincha stadium in Brasília and brought caps and sunglasses to wear during play.
Seeing volleyball players wearing caps or sunglasses is strange per se but to see them sharing those with the opponents is even stranger. For instance, Brazil NT setter William Arjona saw Portuguese players looking down due to heavy sunlight and asked referee to pause the game so that he can borrow them his sunglasses.
Nice sportsmanlike move, don’t you think?
