Bernardo Rezende, one of the most prominent volleyball coaches ever in the world, had an unpleasant situation in the match of the Brazilian Women’s Championship that could easily end with a fight.

In the match between his team Rexona-Sesc and Genter Vôlei Bauru (3-1) in Round 14, last night, Bauru assistant coach Fabiano Kwiek started discussion with Rezende in two occasions.

The first time Fabiano Kwiek (brother of Bauru first coach and also Dominican Republic Women’s NT head coach Marcos Kwiek) got angry with Rezende was in the third set. He addressed Rezende, as Brazilian media reported, with the words: “Every time you want to talk.” A former Brazilian Men’s NT head coach did not do anything, just stood and looked at the behavior of his opponent. Even Bauru coaching staff was calming down Kwiek, who got red card after a long debate.

The quarrel between these two continued at end of the game. Rezende ignored his rival during a greet of the two teams which made Kwiek furious. He even wanted to take Rezende out of the gym, pushing away TV camera. Kwiek repeated “Crazy” several times toward Rezende.

In the end, Rexona libero Fabiana Oliveira ‘Fabí went to Kwiek and asked him to calm down, saying discussion was not necessary.
