Russia and Poland had an amazing clash today, playing a five-set game! Fortunately for the fans of Russia, they managed to beat the Polish girls in the tie-break game 3-2 (19-25, 25-19, 25-22, 19-25, 17-15).
Valeriya Shevchuk (20 points) and Tatiana Kadochkina (18 points) were the top scorers in Russia, while Magdalena Stysiak ended a game with 34 points.
Semifinals:
Italy – Turkey 3-1 (25-15, 10-25, 25-22, 25-22)
Russia – Poland 3-2 (19-25, 25-19, 25-22, 19-25, 17-15)
