Brazil had a strong start, taking the first set but in the second set, we saw an answer from the Italian girls. The team from South America took the lead again to wake up the beast from Europe.
As of that moment, the Italian girls started playing much better, winning the next two sets and claiming the spot in the final.
Paola Egonu was the most dominant player with 32 points, while on the other side Rosamaria Montibeller had 20 points.
