Vakifbank firstly took the lead, then Dinamo won the next two sets while the Turkish team tied and forced the fifth set. In the tie-break, the Russian side managed to perform better and to achieve the win.
Well, it’s always good when you beat Vakifbank. No matter how many sets. But, if you want to knock out them, you need to do it twice. Dinamo Moscow girls know this and they are aware that they are only at the half way.
Giovanni Guidetti’s side is again a big favorite against the Russian side. They are ruling on the home court and the rival must play an insane game to defeat them.
Nataliya Goncharova was the best scorer in Dinamo with 26 points, Irina Fetisova added 19, while on the other side Lonneke Sloetjes had 26 and Zhu Ting 24.
