CL M: Dramatic game at Ergo Arena, Zenit Kazan win in the tie-break

by WoV

The reigning champions Zenit Kazan had a difficult game in Gdansk in the first leg of the CEV Champions League quarterfinals.

Gdansk gave a huge resistance and we can say they won’t surrender even in the second leg game.

Zenit Kazan started much better, taking the lead in a game at Ergo Arena. However, we saw the answer of Gdansk in the second set while the Russian side again took the lead in the third set.

It was also a great clash between Maciej Muzaj and Maxim Mikhailov. Each of them scored 27 points but the match ended well only for the Russian star.

Matt Anderson had 19 points also in Zenit Kazan…
