The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) has chosen the best women’s volleyball team of the last decade composed of players from this continent in which as many as three Serbian players found their places.

Following the expertise of the three renowned coaches, Giovanni Guidetti, Gert Vande Broek, and Svetlana Ilić, the CEV has chosen the “Women’s Team of the Decade 2010-2019“.

Knowing the number of superb players that have competed on volleyball courts in Europe over the last 10 years, it was very difficult to single out favorites for the so-called dream team. However, as a result of opinions of Italian, Belgian, and Serbian coaches, respectively, this is how the CEV’s ideal line-up looks:

Setter – Maja Ognjenović (SRB)

Middle blockers – Maja Poljak (CRO) and Milena Rašić (SRB)

Libero – Monica De Gennaro (ITA)

Opposite hitter – Tijana Bošković (SRB)

Outside hitters – Gözde Kırdar (TUR) and Francesca Piccinini (ITA)
