Turkey and Bulgaria recorded wins after tie-breaks on Day 2 of the 2020 CEV U17 Women’s Volleyball European Championship in Podgorica (Montenegro).

Slovenia were so close to stunning the title favorites Turkey on Day 2 in Pool I at the 2020 U17 EuroVolley for women as they led twice in sets. They have fallen in the tie-break, partially 16-25, 25-21, 21-25, 25-15, and 15-5. Ege Melisa Bükmen led the winning side in scoring with 18 points. Özge Arslanalp served 6 aces, while İlayda Bianca Mumcular made 4 blocks.

Led by Viktoria Koeva (13 points) and Boryana Angelova (5 blocks), Bulgaria achieved the first win in the tournament, downing the hosts in five sets.

Italy are perfect after two rounds.

As for Pool II, Serbia were victorious at their premiere (3-0 vs Poland), while Russia swept Belarus (3-0).
