Poland expressly advanced to the quarter-finals of the 2021 CEV Men’s Volleyball European Championship.
In the match of the eight-finals of the CEV Men’s EuroVolley 2021, Poland did not give Finland any chances. The world champion presented itself in the best possible light in front of the home crowd in Gdańsk and quickly won: 3-0 (25-16, 25-16, 25-14). The Nordic side did not look like a rival that could scare the host. The result at one moment in the third set speaks for itself: 22-12 for the team commanded by Vital Heynen.
Wilfredo León stood out on the winning side with 14 points. Bartosz Kurek had 83 % attack (10/12, one error).
