Hebar Pazardzhik filled in the last vacancy in the 3rd Round of the 2022 CEV Men’s Volleyball Champions League.
The champions of Bulgaria Hebar Pazardzhik managed to beat the Belarusian Shakhtior Soligorsk as guests with a score of 3-1 (15-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-22) in the rematch of the 2nd qualifying round of the CEV Champions League Volley 2022 | Men. In the first match, Hebar lost 2-3, and a win with a score of 3-0 or 3-1 would make them qualify for the next round. However, the team commanded by Argentine Martín Costa (temporarily replacing Italian Camillo Placì who has health problems) had a nightmarish start, but luckily for its fans, it straighten things up in the continuation of the match.
Todor Aleksiev was the top scorer for Hebar with 22 points (72% efficiency in attack – 21/29, one error, blocked twice).
