CSM Volei Alba Blaj qualified for the semi-finals of the 2022 CEV Women’s Volleyball Cup.
After defeating away the French team Volero Le Cannet with the score of 3-2 (27-25, 25-16, 22-25, 17-25, 15-12) in the second leg of the CEV Volleyball Cup 2022 | Women quarter-finals, CSM Volei Alba Blaj qualified to the semi-finals. The Romanian vice-champions, who had also won the 1st leg, with a score of 3-0, finished the entire job in the first two sets, which they took, mathematically securing the progression to the Top-4.
Russian Victoriia Russu top-scored the winning side with 17 points. The Serb Nadja Ninković set up 4 blocks. In the semis, Alba will meet Turkey’s Eczacıbaşı Dynavit İstanbul.
