Ukraine has lost the right to host the men’s EuroVolley in 2023 due to the ongoing armed conflict with Russia. However, according to Sportarena, Ukraine will host the continental championship two years after that. President of the Ukrainian Volleyball Federation (FVU) Mykhail Melnik confirmed that the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) offered such an exchange.

At the same time, participation in the 2023 EuroVolley for the Ukraine Men’s National Team remains in question. There’s a possibility that they’ll receive a wild card to participate in the event. As Melnik said, the official decision will be made in August.
