After clinching the first set in an easy way, Italy were in a difficult situation in the third set!
The Turkish team was leading all the time and even after having a three-point lead (22:19) at the very end of this set, they didn’t manage to extend the game.
Italy has made a comeback and won this set by 31-29! The top scorer of the game was Luca Vettori with 14 points, while Filippo Lanza had 13. On the other side, Metin Toy scored 12 points.
In the quarterfinals, Italy will play against Belgium, while Bulgaria will meet Serbia.

Italy – Turkey 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 31-29)
