For the second time in the history of Azerbaijan Volleyball, the women’s National team qualified for the semifinals of the European Championship.
Today, they defeated Germany 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-21) and Polina Rahimova with 21points and Nataliya Mammadova with 17 points led Azerbaijan.
On the German side, Jennifer Geerties was only with the double effect, 12 points. They finished the competition which is worse than in 2015 when they finished on the 5th place. In 2013 and 2011 they were silver.
