CL W: Result in the first set says it all – 25-4! Imoco run over Békéscsabai

Imoco Volley Conegliano from Italy had no difficulties in beating Hungarian titleholders Linamar – Békéscsabai RSE in the second round of the Qualifications for the 2018 CEV Women’s Volleyball Champions League.

Although they played without Samanta Fabris and Mexican Samantha Bricio, the Champions League runners-up Imoco ran over Békéscsabai in the first leg by a 3-0 (25-4, 25-10, 25-17). The American Kimberly Hill from Imoco scored game-high 17 points.

The second match is scheduled for October 21 in Italy, but according to the first match between these two sides, Imoco can already make plans for the third round of the Qualifications in which they will meet the winners of Sliedrecht Sport (NED) vs. Asterix Avo Kieldrecht (BEL).

The Slovenian champions Nova KMB Branik Maribor achieved a straight-set victory over ŽOK Bimal-Jedinstvo Brčko from Bosnia and Herzegovina with Iza Mlakar scoring 17 points.
