Vakifbank Istanbul and Imoco Volley Conegliano will once again play between each other very important game of the F4.
Last season the same teams faced in the match for the gold medal and the Turkish giants lifted the trophy. This time, the newly crowned Italian and Turkish league champions will face each other in the semifinal.Vakifbank will be with the full roster while Imoco will play without two middle blockers from the starting line – De Kruijf and Folie.
Their match is scheduled for 16:00 by local time, and they will first run on the court while the second semifinals will be at 19:00 and the host team CSM Alba Blaj will play against Galatasaray SK Istanbul.
Romanian team finished the domestic league and national Cup on the second place and for the first time in history will participate in the Final Four of the elite club competition. On the other side, Galatasaray finished Turkish league as the fourth and they will play their second Final Four of CEV Champions League.
In season 2012/2013 they played at F4 of Champions League in and finished as the fourth-ranked team.
