The team coached by Miroslav Zhivkov gave a huge joy to home fans by snatching the trophy in front of Montana after a five-set drama in the final, partially 21-25, 25-20, 16-25, 25-22, 15-9).
Zhulien Georgiev topped Dobrudzha scorers with 24 points, while Martin Atanasov added 22. In Montana, who could not count on the help of Bulgarian NT member Teodor Todorov due to injury (reinforced Montana for the Cup after finishing the season in Russian Gazprom-Yugra Surgut), Mincho Minchev scored 26 points.
