Koll IL upset title contenders BK Tromsø away in Round 9 of Mizunoliga by a 3-1 (25-23, 23-25, 25-17, 25-18), making the rival’s title battle much harder as now they are two wins and six points behind the leaders in the standings Førde Volleyballklubb and second-placed TIF Viking. Two best teams at the end of the regular stage will fight for the national title.

Daniel Nygaard topped Koll with 18 points. Henrik Aase Hole and Lars Magnus Kaasa contributed with 5 served aces apiece. Kaasa added 4 kill blocks to his quite versatile display.
