HPK outplayed LiigaPloki in straight sets (25-17, 25-8, 27-25) thanks to a good block and serve. Vicky Savard was the top scorer with 16 points followed by Daniela Öhman and Suvi Kokkonen who scored 12 points each. In the defeated team, Canace Finley scored 10 points.
Their second semifinal match is scheduled for March 25.
LP Viesti defeated LP Kangasala also in three sets (25-17, 25-17, 25-14) and Kertu Laak (12) and Dubravka Stojanović Rakić (11) were the best scorers in the winning team. On the other side, Danielle Brisebois was the bets with 9 points.
