No.1 Neftochimic opened Super Liga 2017-2018 playoff semifinal series against Pirin in a perfect manner, with a straight-set win at home, leaving the rivals at 11 points in the first set, partially 25-11, 25-19, 25-19.
Valentin Bratoev showed a superb serving display for the defending champs – 9 aces! He finished the match with a game-high 21 points. His teammate Georgi Petrov made 71% attack (10/14, 1 error).
In the other semifinal, No.3 CSKA tied the series against Montana at 1-1.
