FRIENDLIES W: Serbia won their first match in new season

Women’s national teams of Serbia and Bulgaria have played their first friendly match in the new season.

Serbia host Bulgaria as a part of the preparation for the I Volleyball Nations League and in the first control match celebrated the victory of 3-0 (25-17, 25-14, 25-23) after 60 minutes of play. 

Coaches Zoran Terzić and Ivan Petkov agreed to play the fourth set which Bulgaria won 27-25.

The second match is scheduled for today, May 9.

Bulgaria: G. Dimitrova 17, Paskova 5, Kitipova 2, Todorova 10, Ruseva 3, Karakasheva 4, Dimova 1, Todorova (l), Chausheva 6, Guncheva 2.

Serbia: Popovic, 6, Antonijevic 1, Mihajlovic 14, Veljkovic 6, Pusic (l), Mirkovic, Bjelica 9, Stevanovic 4, Popovic (l), Boskovic 9, Blagojevic5, Aleksic 1 Milenkovic 8.
