WCH 2018 M: Slovenia down Japan and improve the score to 2-0

After scoring a victory at their first game ever at the World Championship, the Slovenian men's volleyball team has scored another win!

After the first two sets, the result was tied. As of that moment, the Slovenian side started playing at a much higher level, destroying the Japanese defense and winning the game in four sets.

Tine Urnaut had a good display, finishing the game with 19 points, while Mitja Gasparini had 12, Jan Kozamernik 11 and Alen Pajenk added 10.

In Japan, Yuki Ishikawa was the top scorer with 15 points, while his teammate Tatsuya Fukuzuwa had 10!

Japan – Slovenia 1-3 (20-25, 25-22, 20-25, 13-25)

Argentina – Dominican Republic  20:30 CET 

POOL B:

China – Netherlands 1-3 (21-25, 13-25, 25-23, 25-16)

France – Egypt 19:30 CET

POOL C:

Australia – Cameroon 3-1 (21-25, 25-17, 25-22, 25-20)

Russia – Tunisia 20:30 CET

POOL D:

Finland – Cuba 3-1 (25-19, 25-19, 20-25, 25-16)

Bulgaria – Puerto Rico 19:40 CET
