In their last game in Pool A, Gianlorenzo Blengini’s side has scored a win over Slovenia 3-1 (23-25, 25-19, 25-13, 25-18).

The Slovenian side got into the match very bravely, winning the first set 25-23! That was a sign for the Italian boys to start playing at a much higher level, destroying the rival in the other three sets.

Ivan Zaytsev led the Italian team to the win with 18 points, while on the other side Mitja Gasparini had 18!
