WCH 2018 M: Juantorena and Zaytsev improve Italy’s score to 6-0!

by WoV

Six out of six - that's the record of the Italian men's volleyball national team at the FIVB Volleyball World Championship!

They are very close to claiming the spot at the Final Six of the World Champs and only a miracle can prevent them from joining the third round.

Italy didn’t have any difficulties in a game against Finland, defeating them in straight sets 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-16).

Osmany Juantorena and Ivan Zaytsev topped the list of the best scorers with 14 points each, while on the other side Urpo Sivula had 12.

Italy has done a nice job but by far has had the easiest road to the Finals. They have yet to play a quality opponent (top 10 team) . Yeah I know possibly Argentina but they have issues. They are about to have a wake up call very soon
