The Brazilian girls defeated Dominican Republic barely in five sets to reach the Olympics.
“The feeling at this moment is mission accomplished. This tournament was our target for this year. The Dominican Republic was a great contender. They have a great coach who knows our team well. Now the focus is preparing for Tokyo 2020 and to be there in the best shape,” says head coach of Brazil, Ze Roberto.
Lorenne Texeira was the best scorer with 22 points, while Brayelin Martinez scored 20 on the other side.
