As volleyball.it published, the FIVB will re-opened the bid for hosting the Final Tournament of the next Nations League.

Chicago, Illinois, USA, was to organize the event (Credit Union Arena) according to the three-year contract with the governing body of world volleyball. But, since the tournament was scheduled for July 1-5 and coincides with the Independence Day, national holiday in the United States on July 4, the FIVB decided to award the organization to some other country. The bottom line, the FIVB considers that due to the holiday in the USA, there will not be enough interest for the Final Six by the fans.
