VNL W: Japan Shuts Out Germany, Stays Undefeated

Japan secured their third straight win in the 2024 Volleyball Nations League, defeating Germany 3-0 in Antalya. Led by Sarina Koga and Mayu Ishikawa, Japan maintained their top position with a perfect 3-0 record. Koga scored 20 points, and Ishikawa added 18, while Kotona Hayashi contributed 12 points. Germany’s top scorers were Camilla Weitzel with 13 points and Kimberly Drewniok with 12.

Japan dominated with a strong offense and minimal errors, winning the sets 25-21, 25-15, and 25-22. This victory boosted Japan’s ranking points, leaving Germany further behind in their Olympic qualification quest.
