Despite a strong start by Germany, who won the first set 25-20, Türkiye, led by superstar Melissa Vargas with 23 points, bounced back to win the next three sets (20-25, 9-25, 24-26).
Earlier, Bulgaria staged a dramatic comeback to beat Korea in a five-set thriller (25-23, 20-25, 24-26, 25-21, 15-13). After falling behind, Bulgaria turned the match around, winning the decisive fifth set.
