The schedule for the women’s volleyball tournament at the Paris 2024 Olympics has been released, revealing match dates and opponents for the 12 qualified national teams. The tournament, featuring 26 matches, will be held at the South Paris Arena from July 28 to August 11.
The opening match on July 28 will see VNL champions Italy face the Dominican Republic in Pool C. Bronze medalists Poland will take on silver medalists Japan in a Pool B match.
The remaining teams will debut on July 29, with Türkiye versus the Netherlands in Pool C, Brazil against Kenya in Pool B, defending champions USA facing China in Pool A, and hosts France playing Serbia in Pool A.
Pool play matches continue on July 31, August 1, 3, and 4, followed by quarterfinals on August 6, semifinals on August 8, and the medal matches on August 10 and 11. The tournament follows a new format with three pools of four teams, advancing top teams to a single-elimination bracket.
