Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde made a strong statement in their return to the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship sweeping Peru’s Alianza Lima in front of an enthusiastic home crowd at Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu.

Playing in the event for the first time since 2017, the Brazilian team controlled the match from start to finish, earning a 3–0 victory (25–14, 25–17, 25–18) to wrap up the opening day of Pool A and join Italy’s Savino Del Bene Scandicci at the top of the standings.
Argentine opposite Bianca Cugno led all scorers with 19 kills, backed by solid contributions from Caitie Bird with 11 points and Maiara Basso with 10. “We’ve trained hard, and I’m happy with how we performed,” Cugno said. “It’s a great way to start the tournament.”
