Türkiye secured a place in the 2026 Women’s Volleyball Nations League semifinals with a four-set victory over Canada in Macao.
Canada claimed the opening set, but Türkiye quickly responded as Melissa Vargas led the recovery with another powerful scoring performance. The match shifted decisively in the third set, when Türkiye overturned a five-point deficit before taking control of the fourth.
Vargas finished with 27 points, while Hande Baladin added 14. Zehra Gunes scored 12 and Ilkin Aydin contributed 11.
Kiera Van Ryk led Canada with 27 points, with Alexa Gray and Abagayle Guezen adding 14 each.
