GP 2017: Second victory of Brazil in Cuiaba

Host Brazil scored the second victory in Pool I1 in front of full stands.

Today, Brazil defeated The Netherlands 3-1 (25-17, 25-14, 18-25, 25-19) and jumped on the fourth place of Group 1 in the FIVB World Grand Prix 2017.

Netherlands are on the third place with the same number of points.

This was the Brazilian second win in a row while Netherland’s second defeat.

Rosamaria Montibeller was top scorer with 18 points followed by Natalia Zilio Pereira 17 points while on the other side Celeste Plak scored 14 points and Maret Balkestein – Grothues 12 points.
