In the match, voluntarily carried to four sets, France was untouchable winning by 4-0 against the fifth team of the last World League (25-21, 27-25, 25-20, 32-30).

“We stayed constant throughout the game to make successful completion of each set. Players have enjoyed playing and we saw a very good match against a team that had some missing players, including Daniel Lewis. We managed to make a difference through our reception and defense and we attacked 20 more balls. Earvin Ngapeth again was very strong in his position,” Laurent Tillie, coach of the French team said.

This game against the Canadians is encouraging for the “blues”, 15 days before the start of the EuroVolley (September 20-29).

Until then, France and Canada will meet again on Friday in Nantes (20:00, “Mangin Beaulieu complex”).

France, currently training in Saint Nazaire will then play three new friendlies, this time against the Netherlands.
