The Saforelle Power 6 Championship kicked off this weekend without major surprises, as the top contenders—Levallois-Paris, Le Cannet, Mulhouse, and Vandoeuvre-Nancy—secured convincing victories to open the new volleyball season.

With Neptunes de Nantes and Venelles relegated for financial reasons, the league began with thirteen teams. France Avenir 2024 was exempt this week.
Fresh off their Supercup victory over Levallois Paris Saint-Cloud, Mulhouse opened strongly at home, sweeping Chamalières 3-0 after a tight first set. Vandoeuvre-Nancy, last season’s semifinalist, also dominated Béziers 3-0, while Cannes earned a clean win at Marcq-en-Barœul.
Bordeaux upset Terville-Florange 3-1 away, while Évreux, a late addition through a wild card, fell 3-0 to Le Cannet. Saint-Dié was defeated 3-0 by the reigning champion Levallois Paris Saint-Cloud.

The season’s opening day confirmed expectations—the favorites are already in control.
